Postal Exprés: Destinations and estimated transit time

The following table shows the destinations and delivery periods of the EMS – International Postal Exprés . These delivery periods must take into account the following:

1) – The delivery periods are calculated in work days in both the country of origin and destination.

2) – The delivery periods are from the admission office in Spain to greater urban centres of the destination country. The delivery periods to other regions may increase by 1 or 2 additional days.

3) – The deliveries delayed by a force majeure will be discounted from the delivery period: meteorological conditions that effect transport and/or distribution, strikes or collective conflicts, etc.

4) – The amount of time spent in customs of the originating and/or destination country is also not counted in the transit time, thus the importance of clear and legible postal documentation, as well as the separation of the customs paperwork (commercial invoice, proform invoice, etc).

6) – If the delivery is sent to aP.O Box or mail list, the transit period may increase and is understood as from the moment of the admission to the deposit of the shipment or its corresponding notice, at the destination´s P.O box.

7) – The delivery period for online pre-registered shipments is calculated from the definitive admission to the Correos office in Spain until its delivery to its destination.

8) – Fill-in the document admission information inSpanish and/or English. If the shipment is sent in another language of the destination country (that is no Spanish or English), include a translation into Spanish and/or English. It is not recommended that you only fill in the form in the destination country´s language, specially if it is written in other characters such as Cyrillic, Arabic or Chinese which may create a delay in the delivery of the shipment.

9) – If the shipment is admitted after 17:00, the delivery period will begin on the following day of admission.
