How do I write the address on my deliveries?
The basic structure of the postal address consists of the following elements in the order shown:
Line 4: Identity of recipient (Name and surname(s), company name, etc.)
Line 3: Type of street - name of street - building number - flat number - entrance number.
Line 2: Post code - town.
Line 1: Province.
Sometimes it is necessary to use an expanded format for the postal address, with supplementary information on the person receiving the delivery (title, position, department, etc.) or the location (housing estate, industrial estate, area, parish, corner, rear entrance, etc.).
In this case, the structure of the address would be as follows:
Line 6: Identity of recipient (Name and surname(s), company name, etc.)
Line 5: Complementary information on the delivery (Department, position …).
Line 4: Supplementary information about the geographic location (Industrial estate, housing estate…).
Line 3: Type of street - name of street - building number - flat number - entrance number.
Line 2: Post code - town.
Line 1: Province.
