CORREOS and the Spanish Red Cross (www.cruzroja.es) have carried out a series of projects in collaboration with the European Social Fund as part of the 'Fight Against Discrimination' in the labour market programme since its creation in 1999. The employment skills workshops project, known as ‘CORREOS: an A to Z for immigrants’, has, in the ten days since its launch, delivered around 300 employment skills training sessions, including personal and language skills workshops, which have helped some 4,700 people across Spain. For many people, these social skills and conventions workshops constitute the first step towards accessing the world of work, while for others it is a case of building on what's already there.

CORREOS also co-sponsors activities organised by the Migrar Foundation (of the Spanish Red Cross) and its internet website www.migrar.org, which offers immigrants useful advice and information. It is aimed at both those who are already working in Spain and those who want to, with the objective of providing access to practical tools and the latest technologies, enabling their migration and, where appropriate, welcoming them to Spain.
