CORREOS has launched a project to donate computer equipment being replaced in its offices, still in reasonable condition, to various NGOs, Non Profit Making Organisations, Associations, Foundations, etc., with the aim of their being reused, enabling computer rooms or games workshops to be set up for people with disabilities, people without resources, the elderly, etc.
In 2008, 232 computers were donated and in 2009, CORREOS began collaborating with the Bip Bip Foundation, an organisation which promotes the social integration of vulnerable collectives through ICT (Information and Communication Technologies). In total, 100 computers were donated, with the aim of developing projects and providing services for non profit making organisations both in Spain and elsewhere.
