CORREOS' Associate Centre for the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) (National Distance Learning University), is another of the training options offered by the company to its workers. Over 900 students have enrolled in the 2008/2009 academic year, with the opportunity to choose among different degrees: Access Course for Students Over 25 Years of Age, three University Bachelor's Degrees (Law, Economics and Business Administration and Management) and four Undergraduate Degrees (one in Business Studies, two in Computing and another in Industrial Engineering).
With the aim of fostering and encouraging its students, CORREOS' Associated Centre announces grants every year for the students who make the best use of their studies, as long as they are civil servants or employees from CORREOS or the Ministry of Public Works.
