‘Línea Verde’ Envelopes, Boxes and Packaging
Through its ‘Línea Verde’ programme, CORREOS provides citizens and businesses with hardback and padded envelopes, especially designed for sending documents; boxes which are easy to assemble with an antiknock system; as well as packaging for bottles, made from high resistance cardboard to guarantee maximum safety in transit. Part of the proceeds from the sale of these products, fabricated using ecological, recyclable and environmentally-friendly materials, goes towards tree planting projects. CORREOS has been collaborating with the Bosques de la Tierra Foundation since 1999, carrying out reforestation projects. Also, FORESTA (Canary Islands Reforestation Foundation) took part in the environmental recovery project carried out in 2008 in a protected area on the island of Gran Canaria.
