Customs export procedures

Export SAD.

The Export SAD is a customs declaration that is presented to  the Spanish Customs Authorities prior to the physical departure of a shipment and that  enables the sender  (a company or private individual) to apply any tax benefits in the form of VAT/IGIC deductions to which they may be entitled by Law.

If you need to process an Export SAD, Correos offers its services as a customs agent approved by the AEAT for processing the Export SADs for your shipments with the following characteristics:

• From Mainland Spain or the Balearic Islands to Third Countries, the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.

• From the Canary Islands to a destination outside the islands.

• From Ceuta to a destination outside said Autonomous City.

To benefit from these services, you , must request them from Correos when leaving your shipments at our  Offices. You will also need to provide the invoice for the goods in triplicate, and , a signed and stamped  clearance form from the AEAT for Correos, which you can download from this page (Export Form).
