For recorded items, an additional delivery certification service is available, giving you legally valid proof of delivery to present to third parties. 
Come and see us at any Correos branch and bring the cash you want to send.
Provide the details of the recipient authorised to collect the money and their address. You will be given a receipt with a tracker number to give to the recipient so they can collect the money.
The money order will always be paid in cash in the official currency of the country. With GIRO UPU IFS, you can send your money with total confidence.

With our National Giro (Giro Nacional) service, you can make secure payments to other people or companies with all the Correos guarantees.

You just need to bring the money, provide the details of the recipient authorised to collect it and the address where you want us send it, and choose your preferred delivery method.

We adapt to all your needs and guarantee maximum control and confidentiality throughout the process.

Shipment details

A totally customised service adapted to meet your needs:

Delivery type:

  • Standard: delivery of 95% of money orders throughout Spain and Andorra in 3 working days. The money is available the day after it is accepted for delivery.

Type of payment:

  • Cash.
  • Current account deposit within 72 hours.

Amounts paid by money orders:

  • Maximum: €2,499.

Important: Remember that money sent by money order is always collected in cash. 

  • Minimum: €0.01.

Delivery method:

  • Home delivery.
  • Money order at branch: when using Giro Inmediato, the sender can go to any branch to withdraw the money.

The maximum amount for delivery to a home address is €499.99.

But that’s not all!

You can also include a private communication of 140 characters at no additional cost.
