DGT environmental quality seal

The DGT environmental quality seal is a sticker that quickly identifies the most eco-friendly vehicles. It should be placed in the lower-right corner of the windscreen. It is voluntary, but we recommend having one:

• Material: adhesive
• Size: diameter 97 mm (cars and vans) and 87 mm (motorcycles).

There are four quality seal categories based on the vehicle's emission levels:

1. Zero emissions quality seal, blue. Applies to:

• Battery electric vehicles (BEV).
• Range-extended electric vehicles (REEV).
• Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) with a minimum range of 40 km.
• Fuel cell vehicles.

2. Eco quality seal, green and blue. Applies to:

• Plug-in hybrid vehicles with a range of less than 40 km.
• Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV).
• Natural gas vehicles.
• Natural gas (CNG and LNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vehicles.

3. C quality seal, green. Applies to:

• Lightweight petrol cars and vans registered from January 2006.
• Lightweight diesel cars and vans registered from 2014.
• Heavy petrol or diesel vehicles with more than 8 seats registered from 2014.

Petrol vehicles must meet the Euro 4, 5 and 6 standards and diesel vehicles must meet the Euro 6 standard.

4. B quality seal, yellow. Applies to:

• Lightweight petrol cars and vans registered from January 2000.
• Lightweight diesel cars and vans registered from January 2006.
• Heavy petrol or diesel vehicles with more than 8 seats registered from 2005
• Petrol vehicles must meet the Euro 3 standard and diesel vehicles must meet the Euro 4 and 5 standards.

There are two types of stickers - for motorcycles and for other vehicles. They all cost the same:

• Two- and three-wheeled scooters under 50cc with an internal combustion engine and a maximum speed of 45 km/h.
• Lightweight quadricycles with an empty mass of less than 350 kg (excluding battery mass for electric vehicles), a maximum speed of 45 km/h, 50cc or less for combustion engines or power of 4 kW or less for all other engines.
• Two-wheeled motorcycles with or without side-car over 50cc with an internal combustion engine and a maximum speed of more than 45 km/h.

Buy your DGT environmental quality seal from our online storeand receive it within 48 hours.

Remember to attach an image clearly showing the following information so we can print the quality seal for your vehicle and send it to you:

• Vehicle registration certificate.
• The ID of the vehicle owner or person authorised to request the quality seal.

These documents should be attached in PDF, JPG, JPEG, GIF or PNG format in the “Customise” field of your Shopping Basket before completing and paying for your order. We cannot send you a quality seal without this information.

If you want to buy several environmental quality seals in a single order, the steps are the same as for buying just one:

• Step 1: Find the environmental quality seal corresponding to each of your vehicles on the DGT website.
• Step 2: Select all the quality seals you need and add them to your Shopping Basket.
• Step 3: Present the documents (PDF, TXT, PPT formats) clearly showing the images of each registration certificate and the IDs of the vehicle owners or persons authorised to request the quality seals you are buying.
• Step 4: Complete payment. If you have any questions, please contact us at tienda@correos.com. We will be happy to help you!

If you are going to buy more than one quality seal and you do not have a single document containing all the information required, you can add them to your Shopping Basket individually with their documentation:

• Step 1: Add a quality seal to the Shopping Basket.
• Step 2: Present the corresponding documentation.
• Step 3: Go back to the Store and add another quality seal to the Shopping Basket.
• Step 4: Add the documentation for the second vehicle and repeat the process.

Once you have completed payment, we will send you a confirmation email with your order number. Please check your Spam folder if you do not receive this email.

Your order will be processed once we have checked that your documents are correct. You will then receive an email with a tracker code so you can follow your package whenever you need to.

You can no longer request a refund for your environmental quality seals once your order has been processed, as they are personalised products.

If you find a mistake in your order, please contact us and cancel the order if it has not been processed. You can do this by sending an email to tienda@correos.com within 24 hours of completing your purchase.
