Delivery to recipient only

The shipment can only be delivered to the intended recipient, and always after they have provided proof of identity. Delivery to entities, companies or third parties is not permitted, even with signed authorisation. There is the option to include two recipients.

Important! Remember that whatever its size, a shipment cannot exceed 30 kg in real weight (box + contents).

Paq Frío Pick-up and Delivery Service Information

  • Paq Frío Pick-up Services (mainland Spain and Balearic Islands):

    • Orders received before 1 pm from Monday to Thursday: The pick-up will be made at the address indicated as the sender’s on the next working day in the morning or afternoon (provided that the postcode established as the sender’s has an afternoon service available) 
      If the order is placed after 1 pm in the afternoon, the pick-up time will be increased by 24 hrs.
      For pick-ups in the Balearic Islands, the pick-up time will be increased by an additional 24 hrs.
    • Orders received on Fridays before 1 pm: The pick-up will be made at the address indicated as the sender’s on the next working day in the morning or afternoon (provided that the postcode established as the sender’s has an afternoon service available) 
      If the order is placed after 1 pm in the afternoon, the pick-up time will be increased by 24 business hrs.
      For pick-ups in the Balearic Islands, the pick-up time will be increased by an additional 24 hrs.
      (Saturday is not considered a business day for the purpose of calculating the collection period).
    • Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays*: The order will be prepared the next business day and the pick-up will be made the next working day depending on the postcode and address indicated as the sender’s (Example: Isothermal boxes are prepared on Mondays and picked up on Tuesdays). For pick-ups in the Balearic Islands, the pick-up time will be increased by an additional 24 hrs.
    • The pick-up service is carried out from Monday to Friday, no pick-up is carried out on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays** (**applies according to the holiday calendar of the sender’s location).
  • Paq Frío Delivery Service (mainland Spain and Balearic Islands):  

    • The delivery service to the recipients is carried out from Monday to Friday, no deliveries are made on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
    • From the moment of pick-up at the sender’s address, delivery is carried out within 24/48 hrs depending on the origin / destination.
    • For deliveries to the Balearic Islands, the delivery time will be increased by an additional 24 hrs.
    • It is important to note that orders picked up on Friday may not be delivered until the following Monday or Tuesday depending on the origin/destination.
    • Delivery will be made to the address indicated as the recipient during morning or afternoon hours (provided that the postcode established as the recipient’s has an afternoon delivery service available) 

*Orders are prepared in Madrid. The Madrid holiday calendar will be taken into account when calculating times.

 

Guarantees and delivery periods

If your shipment suffers an incident arriving at its destination, Correos will compensate you. If you would like the compensation to be paid to the recipient, you must provide signed authorisation.

We know that you trust us and this is our way of thanking you:

National Guarantees:

For delay:

  • Period for presenting an incident or claim: minimum 3 days and maximum 21 days, from the delivery date of the shipment.
  • Compensation: the charge paid is refunded.
  • Terms and Conditions: delivery times will only be met if reception is before 16:00. If not, the period will increase by 1 day.
For damage:
  • Deadline for lodging an incident or claim: within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  • Compensation:  €6.67 per kg invoiced (€6.43 per kg invoiced for shipments received in 2022).
  • If you are a customer without a contract, the minimum compensation for Paq Frío is €40. In other words, if the calculated compensation is less than €40, you will still receive this amount. 
  • For this type of incident, an expert opinion will determine the amount to be paid for the damage.
  • Please do not forget the documentation you must provide when making any type of claim. We will ask you for photos of the packaging and the damaged contents to confirm the damage.
  • If claiming for a damaged shipment or missing content, with Insurance or Declared Value, we may ask for documentation accrediting the value of the goods, or invoices for repair or replacement.
For loss:
  • Deadlines in which to register an incident or claim: minimum 3 days and maximum 1 year, from the reception date of the shipment.
  • Compensation: €6.67 per kg invoiced (€6.43 per kg invoiced for shipments received in 2022) plus reimbursement of the rate. 
  • The minimum compensation is €40, only for Paquete Premium and customers without a contract. 
  • If the shipment has a Declared Value or Comprehensive Insurance, with a maximum coverage of €6,000, the compensation will consist of reimbursement of the delivery price plus the Declared Value or Insurance. 
  • The shipments regulated by the LCTTM (Law on Contracting Land Transport of Goods) have insurance associated so, in the event of a claim, the lowest of the following amounts will be paid:
    • For the declared value.
    • For replacement of the lost object.
    • For repair of the damaged object.
  • Documents to provide: if claiming for a lost or damaged shipment or missing content, with Insurance or Declared Value, we may ask for documentation accrediting the value of the goods, or invoices for repair or replacement.

And of course we will deliver your shipment as quickly as we can.

Frequently asked questions

Necesito realizar un envío de Correos Frío de forma puntual, ¿puedo contratarlo desde la página web?

Puedes realizar tu envío seleccionando la opción ‘’Paq Frío’’ y haciendo clic en el botón ‘’HACER UN ENVÍO’’, posteriormente debes seguir los 4 pasos que se detallan y finalizar el proceso de pago para cerrar la contratación del servicio.

He contratado un envío de Paq Frío desde la página web, ¿Cuándo contactará conmigo Correos para pasar a recoger mi producto?

Una vez contratado el servicio, recibirás un email con todos los detalles de tu pedido.  En este momento, desde Correos ya estaremos preparando la caja isoterma con el rango de temperatura necesario que nos hayas solicitado previamente. Una vez esté listo, contactaremos contigo lo antes posible a través del número de teléfono que nos facilites para concretar la fecha y hora de recogida del producto en tu domicilio o almacén.

¿Puedo modificar el domicilio en el que debe llevarse a cabo la recogida después de haber contratado el servicio?

 ¡Lo sentimos mucho! Por el momento no es posible modificar el domicilio de recogida una vez que contrates el servicio.

Cuando Correos acuda a recoger el producto, ¿cómo debo tenerlo preparado?

Acudiremos a tu domicilio con los elementos necesarios para poder mantener la temperatura idónea de tu producto. Lo único que necesitamos por tu parte es introduzcas tu paquete en la bolsa que te entregará nuestro repartidor o repartidora para ubicarlo sin incidencias dentro de la caja isoterma en la que se alojará tu envío. 

También puedes acondicionarlo dentro de tu propia bolsa o caja. Por favor, asegúrate de que tu paquete podrá incluirse en el interior del tipo de caja que hayas seleccionado.

Desde que Correos acuda a mi domicilio a recoger mi producto, ¿Cuánto tardará en llegar al destinatario?

Nos comprometemos a cumplir un plazo de entrega de entre 24 - 48 h según el origen y el destino para el primer intento de entrega dentro de la Península.

Si el destinatario no está en su domicilio, ¿Correos le dejará un aviso de llegada para que acuda a recogerlo a una oficina de Correos?.

Lo sentimos, esta opción no está disponible. Con el objetivo de garantizar una conservación perfecta de la cadena de frío, los envíos de Correos Frío sólo se pueden entregar en el domicilio del destinatario. En ningún caso se avisarán para que sean recogidos por parte del destinatario en una oficina de Correos.

El servicio incluye 2 intentos de entrega al destinatario, en caso de no poderse efectuar la entrega el producto será devuelto al remitente.

 

¿Cómo puedo conocer si mi producto ha llegado en buen estado?

Monitorizamos las alertas de temperatura, humedad, golpes y aperturas de todos los envíos de Correos frío. En el momento de la entrega nuestro repartidor o repartidora mostrará al destinatario el datalogger incluido en la caja en el que se muestra si ha habido o no alertas de temperatura desde que el producto fue recogido.

Tengo que utilizar el servicio de Paq Frío habitualmente, ¿es posible formalizar un contrato con Correos para realizar este tipo de envíos?
