Why have I received a text message about a home delivery?
What does it mean?
If you receive a text message telling you that you will soon receive your item at your home address, this means the item has arrived at Correos, and depending on the product, it will be available at your home address within 24 to 72 hours later.
Where can I collect it?
If it could not be delivered after two attempts, you will receive a second text message and we will try to deliver it again to your address within 24 hours.
If we still cannot deliver the item to your home address, you will receive a text message with information about the Post Office where you can pick up your item. Remember that you can collect it from the day after you get the text message, and you will have 15 days to pick it up.
What do I have to show?
If going to the Post Office to collect your item, remember you must present a valid, current identity document.
If you are unable to collect your shipment in person, you must fill in an authorisation, indicating who you wish to collect the shipment on your behalf. The authorised person must show their own identity document and a photocopy of the recipient's identity document.
The authorisation can be done in person or by filling in the form available for that purpose, printing it out and attaching it to a photocopy of the recipient's ID document Autorización recogida (179 Kb)
