The Telegram service lets you send urgent messages with registered delivery (signed for by the recipient), sent electronically from the point of origin to the distribution centre at the destination, with the option of certifying their delivery and content.
If you want to send a telegram, you can do so in the following ways:
• Online through the Mi Oficina service of the Correos website.
• Send a telegram by telephone by calling 91 522 20 00 (Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 9.45 pm, and Saturdays from 8.00 am to 2.30 pm, except public holidays).
• You can also send it via the Correos customer service by calling 915 197 197 (Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, and Saturdays from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm, except public holidays) pressing option #3 to “receive commercial assistance”, and the sub-menu #3 “send a telegram”.
• In any Correos office.
In the first three cases, payment is made with credit card
Telegrams within Spain are delivered on the same working day*.
Other telegrams are delivered on the morning of the next working day.
* If the online reception process is completed before 12:45 and the destination has a Special Delivery Unit.
The delivery will be:
To the recipient's address.
To a Correos Office.
Telegrams are secure, immediate transmissions.
They are legally accepted as proof in courts of law.
You can request a certified copy as legal proof to third parties.
Guarantee: For delays attributable to Correos, the corresponding price for the Telegram is reimbursed, not including added values.
