We collect your parcels from your address or warehouse. Availability depends on the volume of the delivery and the collection point.


Cash On Delivery

Receive payment for your shipments in a safe, simple, reliable way. At Correos, we reimburse you the amount paid by the recipient, which appears on the item.
Select SEND for prior registration of your letters online or visit any of our Post Offices.
Indicate what type of letter you want to send, fill in the information and indicate if you want any additional services.
Make the payment by bank card, PayPal or in any of our Post Offices.
Print the labels that identify the letters before arranging their collection or bringing them to one of our Post Offices.

A Carta Certificada is the best option for important documents that contain personal data such as signed contracts or estimates.

  • Maximum security: each shipment is identified and registered individually with a unique barcode.
  • With guarantees: when the shipment reaches its destination, the person who receives it must sign for it. If delivery cannot be made, we will leave a notification in the postbox stating the Post Office where it can be collected within 15 days.

  • Adapted to your needs: available for both national and international shipments, through our Post Offices or online.

Delivery details

You choose your perfect packaging. Of course, the size must fit these measurements:


  • Envelope or box: Length + Height + Width = 90 cm, with no measurement being more than 60 cm.
  • Roll or tube: Length + twice the diameter = 104 cm, with no measurement exceeding 90 cm.


  • Envelope or box: 14 x 9 cm.
  • Roll or tube: Length + twice the diameter = 17 cm, with no measurement being less than 10 cm.

If you want to send something smaller, don't worry, you just have to add a 10 x 7 cm label with the address and postage.

And it should not weigh more than 2 kg! 

Now you just have to tell us where you would like us to send it:

  • It is important that your details and those of the recipient are clearly visible on the packaging.
  • If it is in Spain, CERTIFICADO” will be shown on the label that must be placed of the front of your shipment in the upper left corner.
  • If it is international, RECOMMENDÉ / CERTIFICADO” and “PRIORITARIO / PRIORITY” will be shown on the label that must be placed on the same side.

Guarantees and delivery periods

If your shipment suffers an incident arriving at its destination, Correos will compensate you. If you would like the compensation to be paid to the recipient, you must provide signed authorisation.

We know that you trust us and this is our way of thanking you:

National guarantees:

For damage or loss:

  • Deadlines in which to register an incident or claim: minimum 7 days and maximum 4 months, from the reception date of the shipment.
  • Compensation: From 27/06/2021 the compensation will be the rate paid multiplied by 10, plus the declared value if it has been contracted. Prior to this date, the compensation was 30 euros plus the declared contracted value. 
  • The Declared Value is added to the compensation amount if you contracted it. Incidents will be compensated by the lowest of the following amounts:
    • For the declared value.
    • For replacement of the lost object.
    • For repair of the damaged object.
  • Terms and Conditions: damage must be reported at the time the shipment is received. If not, we will consider the shipment to have been delivered in good condition and will not allow any claims.
  • Documents to provide: we may request photos of the damaged packaging and contents to confirm the damage and check whether the packaging was sufficient to protect it. During reception, our staff may advise you on how to prepare your shipment and offer you the most appropriate packaging.
  • If claiming for a lost or damaged shipment or missing content, with Insurance or Declared Value, we may ask for documentation accrediting the value of the goods, or invoices for repair or replacement.

International Guarantees:

For damage or loss:

  • Deadlines in which to register an incident or claim: minimum 15 days and maximum 6 months, from the reception date of the shipment.
  • Compensation: the maximum amount is the rate +30 SDR or rate + Declared Value if you have taken out insurance, the maximum coverage of which is €3,000.
  • Terms and Conditions: you must use envelopes and packaging that ensure the integrity of the contents, which is why Correos offers a wide variety of products adapted to all your needs. Remember that the return address and the recipient's details must be visible on the packaging.
  • Documents to provide: if claiming for a lost or damaged shipment or missing content, with Insurance or Declared Value, we may ask for documentation accrediting the value of the goods, or invoices for repair or replacement.

Locate your nearest Correos Post Office and bring us your shipment before 16:00 (for Post Offices that open in the afternoon) or 14:30 (in Post Offices that are only open in the morning), and we will deliver it within: 

  • Local: 1 day.
  • Provincial: 2 days.
  • National: 3 days (in 93% of cases).
  • Europe: 2 - 4 days.
  • Other destinations: depending on the country.
